I've evolved and I'm from Kansas

As a resident of cobb co GA I felt the same relief when a court tossed out the evolution stickers in our co. science textbooks.

The school board was so ignorant of science that they didn't know the the difference between a theory as "sounds good in theory" and a scientific theory, an explanation supported by data. Like you, I'm a bit puzzled by all the fuss. Science deals with things that can be proved, religion deals with things that can't be proved (articles of faith). You would think that they would be the ideal complements, and they are in my world. But I'm not a literalist, hell I'm not really even a Christian even though I have the utmost respect for the teachings of Jesus. Our founders said it best. The separation of church and state makes both the church and the state stronger.
